Schlicker group

Prof. Dr. med. Eberhard Schlicker

Schlicker

Key research interests

  • Characterization of the cannabinoid CB1 receptor and of the endothelial cannabinoid receptor, also in vivo and also under pathophysiological conditions
  • Identification of histamine H1, H2, H3 and H4 receptors and investigation of ad hoc synthesized ligands
  • Atypical ß-adrenoceptors: Search for models and investigation of ad hoc synthesized ligands

Technologies/resources

  • Superfusion technique (determination of transmitter release)
  • Biochemical methods (radioligand binding, Western blot, RT-PCR)
  • in vivo studies (in cooperation)
  • Synthesis of novel ligands (in cooperation)
